The only catch under these packs available as “i-RoamFREE” is the fact that these truly unlimited plans are valid only for USA, UAE, and Singapore. Subscribers travelling to other locations (47 countries) will be charged a “home-like” tariff for making and receiving calls, and using mobile data. These charges are Rs. 1/min for incoming and local outgoing calls, Rs. 15/SMS, and Rs. 1 for 1 MB data.

The plans start from Rs. 500 per day (excluding taxes) and go up to Rs. 5000 (excluding taxes) for 30 days. Kindly check the screenshot below for the rest of the plans:

So next time when you need to travel internationally you know you save big and have a worry-free tour by opting for any of these Vodafone packs. The most interesting part about these plans is the word truly unlimited. You can consume as much data as you want and speak to your friends and family back home as much you wish.

The entry-level Rs. 500 pack carries a validity of 24 hours and the subscribers can make full use of it by opting for its based on their travel duration and time. However, care must be taken that the validity of these packs will be based on Indian Standard Time (IST) irrespective of the time zone that you travel to.

“This is the first time ever UNLIMITED international roaming proposition and we are very excited to introduce it for our top 3 travel destinations – USA, Singapore and UAE. We are making calls and data, both incoming and outgoing, while traveling in these countries completely free. This completely eliminates the need and hassle of changing SIM cards when traveling abroad and customers can now freely use their local number seamlessly without worrying about any bill shocks or expensive charges. They can remain confidently connected on their existing Vodafone number when they travel, and be assured the best of voice and data services,” said Sandeep Kataria, Director – Commercial, Vodafone India, on the launch of unlimited international roaming plans.

Very soon, all the leading telecom operators in the country will focus on offering more value to their subscribers via international roaming plans. Jio was the first to offer lucrative ISD tariff plans and now Vodafone has come up with international roaming plans.
