This recharge voucher is aimed at attracting new subscribers by offering lucrative benefits like free voice calls and 1 GB 3G data for Rs. 149. Like everything this also comes with a catch and the free calling is unlimited for Local/STD Aircel-Aircel calls, and is restricted to 300 minutes for all calls to others.
“Aircel is redefining the value proposition with a whole range of exciting Data and Voice products. The recent drop in the average selling price of smart phones has led to an explosion in the adoption of smart phones among Indians. More and more Indians are using mobile for calling (Voice) as well as surfing/sharing online (Internet/data). Aircel recognizes the trend of customers becoming a multi-service user hence it becomes imperative to introduce fully loaded combo packs which is a solution to their evolving communication needs,” said Anil Gupta, Regional Manager- East, Aircel.
The FRC149 offers free voice calling with a validity of 30 days within the Aircel network (local + national), and 300 mins of voice calls to other network (Local and STD) valid for 60 days. The new subscribers will also get 1 GB 3G data carrying a validity of 60 days.
However, the main attraction of this new FRC is the fact that the subscribers would be able to carry forward the unused data and voice minutes to the next month for free. Post the exhaustion of free minutes the users would be able to call local and STD @ 1p/sec for 90 days.
