In an evolutionary move, Reliance Communications has launched unlimited internet and voice plans in Gujarat telecom circle. These unlimited plans would be valid across both GSM and CDMA technologies.

RCom wants it customers to have an easy time when they recharge and has hence done away with the complexity of them doing multiple recharge for data and voice plans within a month.

“RCom is offering its customers in Gujarat the ability to go mobile without boundaries. Besides being tremendous value for money, our India-Unlimited plans bring in simplicity to our tariff structure, taking away worries about usage charges and high tariffs,” said Gurdeep Singh, CEO, Consumer Business, RCom.

“With the India Unlimited plans, RCOM has become the first Indian operator to offer a simple, integrated plan portfolio, offering ease of recharge and complete tariff transparency to its customers,” Gurdeep added.

With these plans, Reliance plans to provide its subscribers with truly unlimited voice & data plans.

Currently, Reliance is offering more than 140 packs having various price tags in the Gujarat telecom circle. Such a huge number of packs makes it very confusing for the end-user to select the best pack for his/her needs. RCom’s India-Unlimited offers hold the potential to disrupt the entire telecom industry in India.

“These plans have been configured after extensive consumer research and truly reflect the consumer’s voice, rather than confusing telecom-tariff-speak which bewilders customers,” Gurdeep explained further.

Reliance hopes that these plans will bring about a change in the user behavior and strengthen the company’s position in the country.

Unlimited Data & Voice Plans For Prepaid & Postpaid On GSM and CDMA:

The consumer opting for R2R voice calls (local+STD) will have to subscribe to Rs. 97 pack. This pack will also offer free incoming calls, and non-Reliance calls will be charged at 30p/min.

Rs. 147 pack will let the users do unlimited voice calling to Reliance and 200 mins of free calls to other networks (25p/min post free usage) while offering free incoming calls while roaming.

Coming to the data plans, users will get unlimited 2G internet usage at Rs. 197 along with unlimited R2R calls and 300 mins of free calls to other networks (25p/min post free usage) within the nation.

These plans are available for Reliance GSM and CDMA subscribers on both prepaid and postpaid plans.
