Reliance Communications, the only operator having pan-India license of CDMA and GSM technologies is now planning to take its customer experience one step further by opening 1,000 new Reliance Mobile Stores by the end of the current fiscal.
RCom has taken this initiative to improve the customer experience of its 118 million active mobile users. across 22 telecom circles. These Reliance Mobile Stores (RMS) will act as special experience zones and will help the customer with any telecommunication problem. It might be related to mobile devices, data cards, tariff plans, etc. The customers will be attended by well trained personnel.
1,000 Reliance Mobile Stores will open across 22 circles by the end of 2014. These stores will let the potential customers experience the RCom products and services first hand.
This chain of stores will consist of company’s owned and franchisee stores. However, during the current launch phase, the company will be controlling a maximum of these controls for better quality control. The plan is to make these stores a one stop shop for all telecom related applications.
These hi-tech stores will have access to all the products and services offered by Reliance Communications for GSM and CDMA technologies.
Let’s hope that these stores actually do take the customer experience for Reliance subscribers a notch higher. This will not only result in improving their image in the eyes of their current subscribers will also help them in the long term by attracting more potential subscribers.
