Reliance Jio Services Launch Dec

Reliance Jio is the talk of the town these days. Everyone is trying to get his hands on a Jio SIM these days as it comes with unlimited voice and voice calls along with unlimited 4G data for 90 days under the ‘Jio Preview Offer’. In a recent leak it has been revealed that Reliance Jio would offer extremely competitive tariff plans starting at Rs. 50/month offering 10 GB 4G data, 100 SMS, 500 mins of voice calls, and 2 free Jio apps.

Reliance Jio was earlier offering free Jio SIM only with LYF smartphone purchases. This was later extended to smartphones from Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Asus, TCL, Alcatel, Gionee, Karbonn, Xolo, Lava, YU, Intex, Micromax, and now the offer has been extended to HTC, Sony, Vivo, Videocon, and Sansui smartphones.

To get Jio SIM for use with any of these smartphones all you have to do is install My Jio app, and follow these instructions.

Reliance Jio Data Plans Sound Too Good To Be True!

We were all expecting Jio to offer affordable data plans and much cheaper than the current standard of Rs. 250/GB of 3G/4G data, but what has surfaced on the internet has surpassed our expectations. If this leak pans out to be true (most likely, it’s just a hoax) then it will start mobile tariff price wars in India.

As reported by 91Mobiles, Jio plans range between Rs. 50 to Rs. 400 for 30 days and offer a combination of voice minutes, 4G data, SMS, and access to Jio Premium apps.

The entry-level Rs. 50 plan would get you 10 GB 4G data, 100 SMS, 500 voice minutes, and access to 2 Jio apps for a period of 30 days. Going up Rs. 100 will get fetch you 20 GB 4G data, 200 SMS, 1000 voice minutes, and access to 3 Jio apps. Jio would also be launching combo plans with 40 GB and 60 GB data for Rs. 200 and Rs. 400 respectively.

Reliance Jio Tariff Plans Leak

Now, while this news takes our hopes even higher for Reliance Jio’s tariff competitiveness, we also can’t ignore the fact that it can be just for marketing purposes only. The shared screenshot seems to be have been taken on Jio Portal but we would suggest you to take it with a pinch of salt.

We will update you as more information emerges about Reliance Jio. Stay tuned!
